Completed in Fall '18, my PCC course covered both theory and practical applications of the chemistry of color, including: direct, vat, indigo, sulfur, fiber reactive, disperse, acid, and cationic dye classes. The lab and lecture also covered finishes including flame retardant, water repellent, wrinkle resistant, and anti-microbial finishes. I received an A in the course and really enjoyed gaining a background  and skill set in dyeing for both natural and synthetic textiles.
